REGIMENTAL HISTORY

Founded in late 2024 by father and son team, Jay and Jackson Thomas in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Doody Sergeant® was created to make dog ownership a lot easier by taking on the most dreaded aspect of dog ownership--scooping dog poop.


With a both a military and business ownership background and having picked up after his own dogs for years, Jay recognized that scooping poop was an overlooked service across the United States. Having recently sold his previous business, Jay approached Jackson, a recent business graduate from LSU, about starting Doody Sergeant® and together they set out to make dog ownership more enjoyable by eliminating the hassle of dealing with the messiest part of pet care.


Today, Doody Sergeant® serves the Greater Baton Rouge Area, including East Baton Rouge Parish, West Baton Rouge Parish, Ascension Parish, and Livingston Parish.

How to get Started

Get started with our pet waste removal service in minutes.

1. Sign Up for Services

Click on the Free Quote button, enter your zip code, and complete the signup process right on our website. If you have questions you can give us a call, access the FAQ tab on our website, or email us.

2. Schedule Initial Cleanup

Once you sign up for services a Doody Sergeant will reach out to schedule your initial cleanup and walk you through the entire process.

3. Setup Customer Portal

Once you sign up for services a Doody Sergeant will reach out to schedule your initial cleanup and walk you through the entire process.

4. Attach Payment Method

All billing occurs on the 1st of each month before services are provided. You can set up automatic payments with a bank account or credit/debit card. Once auto pay is set up, Doody Sergeant will generate your invoice and email you a receipt. These records can also be seen in the customer portal. If payment is not received prior to your first cleaning of the month, you will be removed from the service schedule.
